Technical Solutions Architect focused on developing data center infrastructure configurations for our US Amazon Dedicated Cloud.
This position collaborates closely with internal AWS customers to understand business requirements and coordinate with design teams to develop solutions to meet the critical workloads of US Government Intelligence and Defense agencies.
This role provides a unique opportunity to engage with advanced data center infrastructure solutions and the exceptional people who develop them.
This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and either hold, or be eligible to obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
In compliance with the U.
S.
government requirement that employees of its contractors, and employees who work on or in connection with U.
S government contracts must receive the COVID-19 vaccine, this position may require that the candidate selected be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
A person is considered fully vaccinated by completing the full regimen of the COVID-19 vaccine (two doses for Pfizer or Moderna and one dose for Johnson & Johnson).

Engage with internal and external customers and support teams to gain insights and capture critical data center needs for the business today and in the future Utilize those insights to identify specific data center requirements, create a data center vision, and own the solution development roadmap for critical segments of the data center portfolio Coordinate between multiple teams to develop compelling business cases to substantiate business value, define development prioritization, and outline resources required to implement solution roadmaps Drive continuous advancements and improvements within our data center designs, and communicate technical direction to Senior Management Own and drive the complete solution lifecycle from idea conception through implementation and wide scale deployment Develop capacity features and deployment strategies to improve speed of deployment, profitability and penetration for new AWS services Work independently in a high pressure environment with all levels of leadership and exercise sound judgment where clear guidelines may not existAmazon's vision is to be the world's most customer-centric company, and this role is key to that vision.
