Informatics Analyst/Application Developer

POSITION
Summary:
Aetna International's new business line, Travel for Treatment, is looking for an individual to build new tools and leverage and customize existing tools and data sets. They will work closely with the Aetna International Travel for Treatment business team and Aetna's technology team to develop tools to create efficiencies and repositories.
Position must be in an Aetna Office; including Hartford, CT, New Albany, OH, Tampa, FL, Jacksonville, FL, Fort Lauderdale, FL etc.
Fundamental Components:
Works independently with limited direction and supervision.
High level of collaboration expected for issue resolution and idea generation.
Proactively communicates solutions being developed with business stakeholders to understand if needs are being met.
Develops efficient reporting applications and processes.
Produces results including, but not limited to: lists, reports, graphical summaries and statistical tests.
Extracts clinical and financial healthcare data from multiple sources and creates integrated analytic data sets.
Performs the following aspects of data analysis: programming, data management, data acquisition and documentation.
Assesses data and analyzes quality to identify and correct data issues.
Communicates information in a clear and concise manner.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:
One or more years of programming, or data analysis experience, knowledge of healthcare or finance or operations industry preferred.
Strong SQL and .NET programming skills.
Knowledge of analytic programming tools and methods (SQL, Business Objects, Crystal, Tableau, etc).
Experience in statistical analysis and database management.
EDUCATION:
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
