Credit and Collections Specialist

Our Card Member Assistance Representatives play a key role in helping our customers secure a brighter and more successful financial future. A Card Member Assistance representatives primary goal will be to make right party contacts, verify vital information, and get the customer in contact with the appropriate account manager while delivering excellent customer service skills. Card Member Assistance Reps will also be responsible for utilize skip tracing tools available to initiate card member contact and be responsible for supporting and displaying Discover Card Values. They will also use their strong Customer Service skills to build rapport with the card members in order to secure a payment and set them up for future payments.

FLEX SCHEDULE: 35-39/HRS PER WEEK
Skills
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be able to accommodate schedule (the ideal candidate will have an open schedule and can be flexible based on business needs)
Ability to negotiate
Strong interpersonal, communication and listening skills
Great Customer Service skills
Motivated by incentives
Ability to work in a fast paced metric driven environment
Preferable call center experience
Sales experience
Must have at least 6 months of collections experience
1 year of call center experience
Skills Desired:
Associates or Bachelors Degree

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
