Business Intelligence (BI) Developer

Our client is currently seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer - DIRECT HIRE?
This job will have the following responsibilities:?

  • The Business Intelligence (BI) Developer is responsible for designing, building, executing, and monitoring a complex reporting and data analysis system. This role is crucial to the successful execution of day-to-day business operations for various departments.
    ?Work closely with Chief Architect, development groups and infrastructure groups to engineer an enterprise data warehouse solution in the Microsoft Azure stack.
    ?Design, analyze and build ETL programs to populate enterprise data warehouse on a scheduled basis and live.
    ?Design, develop and support end-user reporting in Microsoft Power BI including dashboards and traditional reports
    ?Provide production support for BI environment in the areas of security, troubleshooting, system monitoring and performance tuning.
    ?Create and maintain technical documentation of BI environment.
    ?Perform adhoc analysis for various business units.
    ?Co-chair the BI committee meeting monthly.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science, or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience developing, administering and using business intelligence reporting and visualization tools, Microsoft Power BI preferred.

  • 3+ years of experience developing, administering and using SQL based database platforms, Microsoft Azure SQL and Microsoft Azure Data Warehouse preferred.

  • 3+ years of experience developing ETL programs to populate enterprise data warehouse, Microsoft Azure Data Factory preferred.

  • Deep experience using Microsoft Excel in reporting, pivot table and graphing.

  • Work effectively in a change-oriented organization.

  • Must be able to multi-task effectively and handle multiple projects and priorities.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet and communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization


 

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
