We offer competitive compensation and benefits and are searching for innovative people to join our teams.  Responsible for geotechnical engineering, geotechnical analyses and design, instrumentation readings, field logging, field services, and other related activities related to water resource (dams and levees) and transportation (bridge, roadway and landslide) projects. Develops computerized models using GIS and/or CAD for design and analysis and trains/mentors staff level engineers to support project work. Manages projects and project finances for a focused client group. Operates with significant latitude under review of the geotechnical practice lead. Responsible for client relations and business development support. Responsibilities Serve as lead geotechnical engineer for water resource projects including the evaluation of dams, as well as design of spillway/outlet structures, seepage/stability berms, dam stabilization features, overtopping protection, levee certification and the inspection/instrumentation of dams and levees. Serve as lead geotechnical engineer for transportation projects including planning, managing, and executing geotechnical explorations, in-situ testing and laboratory testing programs and conducting technical evaluations for structure foundations, retaining walls, roadway embankments and landslide remediation/repair using retaining walls, drainage features, and slope regrading. Train and mentor staff geotechnical engineers on current practices, procedures, and submittals. Assigned tasks could include managing field data collection and construction monitoring, geotechnical calculations, preliminary design, and drafting for geotechnical engineering evaluations and reports. The senior geotechnical engineer will also assist with processing field data, performing geotechnical analyses, report and drawing preparation, and will assist in preparation of engineering proposals. This position would direct and provide peer review of all work prepared by staff geotechnical engineers.   Qualifications   Requirements/Qualifications A Bachelor's of Science Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (Master's Degree desired), professional engineering licensure, plus over 10 years professional experience on geotechnical, infrastructure, civil and water resource engineering projects including dams, levees, floodwalls, transportation and other infrastructure projects. Experience with computerized modeling tools, including the ability to utilize CAD and /or GIS to develop model input. Experience in engineering, earth, physical or natural science, soil conservation, or surveying. Direct Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) project management and design experience is a plus. Excellent communication skills. Proficient with MS Office software. Must have valid driver's license and good driving record, with ability to operate a 2wd and 4wd vehicles. Previous field experience and a willingness to travel within the US highly desirable. Most travel will be within Ohio but with occasional assignments out of state.  The duration and frequency of travel assignments will generally be limited in duration. 10000000552

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
